no-shave november

It is that time of the year again. But I missed it. I am thinking that November might be a season better suited for youngsters to corporately grow beards. The young man often finds himself in a school context where November falls right after the introductory, or getting-to-know-you, phase of their social scene. It is a fine time to forge bonds of unity with new friends and old, and also a fine time to show off for the ladies.

But us old married men start looking to more practical times for beard growing. If we are far north or are hunters, then perhaps the Fall is still a good time. But for the rest of us February might be better. It is deep winter and things are slow and sleepy.

How does Facial-Hairy-February sound? Think it over and get back to me.
