COVER YOUR HEADS AND GRAB THE BABIES, ITS GOING TO SNOW...

Liars are predicting snow in b-ham... um... Weather men and women are predicting snow in Birmingham Friday night. We could get 5 inches!!!

5 inches!!! can you imagine? That would almost cover your shoe.

5 inches would bury your gerbil or cover those leaves you haven't found a chance to rake.

But you want to know what 5 inches of snow will do? It will turn this already backward state even more backwards. You would think the little flakes of frozen water is bringing the rapture with it.

5 inches!

Have you heard the joke about two guys go fishing and they need to relieve themselves after much beer drinking and instead of taking the boat to the shore they decided that the water over the edge of the boat is just a good of place as anywhere else. As they proceed with their idea the first fisherman says 'boy this water is cold' to which the second replies, 'it is cold and deep'...

you can't even make that joke with 5 inches of snow.

The snow won't even last until lunch, but there will still be no bread or milk at the local grocer. What do you do with bread and milk and why is that the first thing gone when they predict snow? You would think it would be frozen pizza and Miller's High Life, I mean that is my kind of snow day!! I guess most people have French Toast and I just didn't get the memo.

The best part is watching DOT prepare all the truck to lay down salt and sand. You would think the brain trust got together and formulated a plan to combat mother nature will sodium chloride and silica, but really Bubba told Billy Bob to put some sand in the back of his F-675 and leave the tail gate down and drive around faster and more annoying than usual.

The truth of the matter is that he will only succeed in packing the snow creating ice and getting his balls sandy.

5 inches! Cover your head and grab the babies; its going to be a long weekend!

Last night 2 stores I tried to go to were closed because of the weather. Unbelievable. Hawaii had more of a chance of having weather problems than we did last night.
