5 out of the top ten teams in the AP Poll are from the SEC.
I know Alabama doesn't like Auburn, and vice versa and everybody hates Tennessee and blah, blah, blah--but that is strong for a conference.
The Trojans and Sooners look awfully tough, however.

And don't forget about Mizzou. I usually dog the Big 12 but they have developed some serious depth in the last two years. Missouri's offense is going to be tough for anybody to stop.
I think we are heading to another BCS fiasco. Obviously it is early and anything can happen, but you have to figure that USC won't get bumped down if they don't lose. And whoever the BIg 12 champ is will deserve a shot, likewise with the SEC. And with the depth of the SEC you have to figure even the one loss teams deserve a chance. Add it a few "flies in the ointment" who will have victories against decent BCS teams for once (like BYU or ECU who has already beat two ranked teams or South Florida has a respectable schedule).
