Yeah. The problem is that with cars in one hour those fifty or so people could be in fifty different places within a sixty mile radius of the point of beginning.
With bikes in one hour they could be fifty different different places in an 18 mile radius (and you hope the weather is good).
In a bus in one hour they can be one place sixty miles away.
We Americans like our freedom.
I think if we could figure out how each family could manage with only one car it would help matters immensely.

could it also be that they lead to individualistic expressions of anger and rage? Ever heard of bike-rage? or Bus-rage? Loved the picture. . . Definitely worth a thousand words.
